Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."
Matthew 19:14
Here’s the actual verse in Matthew 19:14; "But Jesus said, 'Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.'" What was the action here? Whoever brought these children (parents? grandparents? friends?) wanted Jesus to interact with them, lay hands on them, pray for them. They weren’t being led into the temple to sit on a pew. We don't believe that children are the church of the future. Along with everyone else, they are the church now!
We believe that, like everyone, children need to be inspired. They need socialization and peer fellowship. And they need a community to stand with them.
We believe that teaching children to love God and others takes place in both the home and in the church. For this reason we seek to partner with parents, the greatest teachers of all! Through fun experiences and meaningful music and ministry that encourages kids to participate, we present the Good News of Jesus Christ in a relevant way, creating moments which children will never forget.
