Waymaker [Through The Impossible] Devotional - Day 1

God Goes Before You

Devotional: Have you ever felt like you were going through life alone, like you were out in the middle of a desert with no one understanding your struggles? It's a common feeling, but take heart. Deuteronomy 31:8 reminds us that God will personally go ahead of us. He will be with us, and He will never fail us nor abandon us. This is a powerful promise that we can hold onto, especially when life feels overwhelming. God sees us not just as we are, but as the wonderful creations He made. He knows our struggles and our pain, and He is always there to guide us through. Trust in His presence and His promise to never leave you alone.

Verse: Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you. - Deuteronomy 31:8

Question: When have you felt most alone, and how can the promise of God's presence change your perspective in those moments?

Quote: Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you. He will never fail you nor abandon you.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for always going before me and never leaving me alone. Help me to trust in Your presence and Your promises, especially when I feel overwhelmed and isolated. Amen.
