He Holds The Future [God's Plan] Devotions Day 1

Trusting God's Plan

Devotional
As we step into the new year, it's natural to reflect on the past and plan for the future. However, true peace comes from trusting God's plan for our lives. Jeremiah 29:10-13 shows us that God hard good plans for Israel, even though they were in captivity. This also reminds us that God has good plans for us, even when we face difficult circumstances. Trusting God's plan requires us to let go of our need for control and place our faith entirely in Him. This week, challenge yourself to let go of worries about the future and focus on being present with God, knowing that He holds your future securely in His hands.

Bible Verse
“This is what the Lord says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” - Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭10‬-‭13‬

Reflection Question
