Chosen by Love

Devotional: God's love is not based on our merits or achievements. Deuteronomy 7:7-8 reminds us, 'The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors.' Just as God chose Israel out of love, He has chosen each of us. This love is unconditional and unwavering. Reflect on the fact that you are chosen and loved by God, not because of what you have done, but because of who He is.
