Bold Faith [Faith And Friends] Devotions Day 5

Living on Purpose

Devotional
Our faith journey isn't meant to be passive. God calls us to live intentionally, actively seeking ways to help others experience His love and grace. This means being alert to opportunities around us - a colleague going through a tough time, a neighbor dealing with loss, or a friend questioning their faith. When we commit to living purposefully, everyday moments become divine appointments. We begin to see our daily interactions as opportunities to reflect Christ's light. This doesn't require grand gestures or eloquent speeches - often it's simple acts of kindness, a listening ear, or a word of encouragement that make the biggest impact.

Bible Verse
You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. - Matthew 5:13

Reflection Question
What specific opportunities has God placed in your path to influence others for Him this week?

Quote
Commit to live your life on purpose to carry people to Jesus. Be like those friends who are willing to tear off the roof to carry their friend to Jesus.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me live with purpose and intention. Open my eyes to see the opportunities You provide each day to influence others for You. Give me courage to act when You call. Amen.
