The Power of Intentional Prayer

Devotional
One of the most powerful tools we have in practicing forgiveness is prayer. When we pray for those who have hurt us, something remarkable happens - our hearts begin to change. It's hard to maintain bitterness toward someone when you're regularly lifting them up in prayer. This isn't about pretending the hurt didn't happen or that it doesn't matter. Instead, it's about intentionally choosing to follow Jesus's example by asking God to work in their lives. Through prayer, we release our right to revenge and allow God to handle the situation His way.
