Without Vision [Who's Got A Plan?] Devotions - Day 2

Finding Hope in God's Plans

Devotional
Sometimes life feels like we're stuck in a waiting room, uncertain of what comes next. The Israelites understood this feeling all too well during their exile in Babylon. Yet even in their darkest hour, God spoke words of hope and promise. He assured them that their current situation wasn't their final destination. Today, that same promise extends to us. No matter where you find yourself - whether in a season of waiting, uncertainty, or even consequences of past choices - God's plans for your future remain good. His vision extends beyond our current circumstances, seeing possibilities we can't yet imagine.

Bible Verse
"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." - Jeremiah 29:11

Reflection Question
How has God demonstrated His faithfulness in past seasons of uncertainty, and how can those memories strengthen your trust in His current plans?

Quote
"Even when we have gone through intense trials, and even when those trials are the results of our own choices, hope is always behind God's message to his children."

Prayer
Lord, thank You for Your faithful promises. When I feel stuck or discouraged, help me remember that You have good plans for my future. Give me the strength to hold onto hope, even when I can't see what lies ahead. Amen.
