Cross Fit [Push Your Limits] Devotions Day 2

Never Stop Growing

Devotional
Growth is a fundamental part of life. Just as a tree never stops reaching toward the sun, our spiritual lives should be in constant development. Yet it's easy to hit plateaus - those comfortable spots where we stop pushing forward. Maybe we've learned enough Bible verses, or we're content with our current level of ministry involvement. But spiritual growth isn't about reaching a destination; it's about continuing the journey with Jesus. Each day brings new opportunities to know Him more deeply, love Him more fully, and serve Him more effectively. When we stop growing, we start settling for less than God's best for us.

Bible Verse
"I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. - Philippians 3:12

Reflection Question
In what ways have you become comfortable or complacent in your spiritual journey, and what's one step you can take today to restart your growth?

Quote
Don't ever hit that plateau. Don't ever be satisfied with where you are. Now I want more of Jesus. I want more because I know how great and awesome He is.

Prayer
Father, stir up in me a desire for continuous growth. Help me not to become satisfied with where I am but to always hunger for more of You. Ignite fresh passion in my heart for Your presence. Amen.
