Joy in All Circumstances

Devotional
Joy isn't just a feeling - it's a choice and a spiritual discipline. When we're told to rejoice always and pray without ceasing, we're being invited into a lifestyle of constant communion with God. This doesn't mean we won't face difficulties, but rather that we can maintain an underlying current of joy because we know Who holds our future. Prayer becomes our constant conversation with God, and thanksgiving our default response to life's circumstances.

Bible Verse
Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (Read: 1 Thessalonians 5:8-22)

Prayer
Dear God, help me cultivate a heart of joy and thanksgiving, even in difficult times. Teach me to pray continuously and find reasons to rejoice in all circumstances. Let Your joy be my strength. Amen.
