Without Vision[Who Has The Lead?] Devotions Day 3

Overcoming Our Limitations

Devotional
We all face moments when our own strength fails us. Like trying to open a tightly sealed jar, we strain and struggle, only to realize we need help. Our human efforts, while well-intentioned, often fall short of God's standards. But here's the beautiful truth: God doesn't expect us to live the Christian life in our own power. He provides His Spirit as the greater power we need to overcome our natural limitations. When we acknowledge our need for His strength and submit to His guidance, we find the power to live beyond our human capabilities.

Bible Verse
"So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves." - Galatians 5:16

Reflection Question
In what areas of your life do you find yourself struggling in your own strength rather than relying on the Holy Spirit's power?

Quote
The pull of flesh is so great. And to overcome it, you need a power that is greater than your flesh. The Spirit of God is that power.

Prayer
Lord, I acknowledge my need for Your strength. Help me to stop relying on my own power and learn to depend fully on Your Spirit. Thank you for providing the strength I need. Amen.
