Without Vision [I Can See Clearly Now] Devotions Day 1

The Foundation of Faith

Devotional
Have you ever tried walking in complete darkness? Your steps become hesitant, your hands reach out for support, and every movement is calculated. Yet, when someone you trust holds your hand and guides you, everything changes. This is exactly how our walk of faith with God works. We might not see the full picture or understand where each step leads, but we have a trustworthy Guide who sees everything perfectly. Faith isn't about having all the answers; it's about trusting the One who does. When we choose to believe in God's character and His promises, we build a foundation that can withstand any uncertainty. This faith becomes our spiritual eyes, helping us see beyond our natural limitations and into God's perfect plan.

Bible Verse
'Faith shows the reality of what we hope for. It is the evidence of things we cannot see.' - Hebrews 11:1

Reflection Question
What areas of your life are you trying to control instead of trusting God's guidance?

Quote
Faith is at heart believing in God's character. He is who He says he is.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me build my faith on the foundation of who You are. When I can't see the way forward, remind me that You are trustworthy and Your plans are perfect. Give me the courage to take steps of faith, even in darkness. Amen.
