Cross Fit [See Results] Devotions Day 1

Training for Eternity

Devotional
When we think about getting fit, our minds often jump to physical exercise - running, lifting weights, or doing cardio. While these activities are beneficial for our bodies, there's an even more important type of fitness we should pursue. Spiritual fitness doesn't just impact our temporary physical bodies; it shapes our eternal souls. Just as physical training requires dedication, commitment, and regular exercise, our spiritual journey demands intentional effort and consistent practice. The beautiful thing about spiritual training is that it offers benefits that last far beyond our earthly lives. When we prioritize our relationship with God, we're investing in something that will never fade or deteriorate. Today, consider how you can start building your spiritual muscles through prayer, Bible study, and worship.

Bible Verse
"For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength." - Philippians 4:13

Reflection Question
What specific steps can you take today to begin training your spiritual muscles with the same dedication you might give to physical exercise?

Quote
Physical training is good. It's good to go out. It's good to exercise. It's good to lift the weights, it's good to run, it's good to work on cardio. All of that stuff is good. But training to be godly is much, much better.

Prayer
Lord, help me prioritize my spiritual fitness above all else. Give me the strength and dedication to pursue You with the same intensity I pursue other goals in my life. Guide me in developing habits that will draw me closer to You. Amen.
