What Was I Made For? [Purpose] Devotions Day 4

The Power of Purpose

Devotional
Understanding our purpose to glorify God gives us incredible strength and resilience. When we face challenges or difficult decisions, this purpose becomes our North Star, guiding our choices and actions. It provides clarity in confusion and hope in despair. This purpose isn't just about personal fulfillment; it's about participating in something far greater than ourselves. We become part of God's grand narrative, displaying His character and love to a watching world. This understanding transforms even our struggles into opportunities for God's glory to shine through.

Bible Verse
'For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever. Amen.' - Romans 11:36

Reflection Question
How might viewing your current challenges through the lens of glorifying God change your perspective and response?

Quote
Not only is God the Source of all things, He holds everything together, He sustains everything that is, and He is the active and present in the work of keeping the universe running. Without God doing what he does, it all falls apart.

Prayer
God, thank you for giving my life clear purpose. Help me see how my current circumstances can be used to bring You glory. Amen.
