What Was I Made For? [Worship] Day 1

Created for Purpose

Devotional
Have you ever tried using a tool for something it wasn't designed for? Maybe using a screwdriver as a chisel or a shoe as a hammer? While it might work temporarily, it's not optimal and could even cause damage. Similarly, when we try to live outside of our created purpose, things just don't seem to work right. God intentionally designed us with a specific purpose in mind - to worship Him. This isn't just about singing songs on Sunday; it's about living every moment in recognition of who He is. When we embrace this purpose, life begins to make more sense, like a puzzle piece finding its perfect fit.

Bible Verse
"The people whom I formed for Myself will declare My praise." - Isaiah 43:21

Reflection Question
In what areas of your life have you felt most fulfilled and purposeful? How might those moments be connected to living out your God-given purpose of worship?

Quote
God created us on purpose for a purpose, and when we try to live outside of that purpose, it doesn't work. It just doesn't work. That's the reason life seems chaotic and just full of chaos when I try to do it my own way, living outside of relationship with Him.

Prayer
Father, thank You for creating me with purpose. Help me to understand and embrace the calling You've placed on my life. Guide me in aligning my daily activities with Your divine design. Amen.
