The Flame That Forms Us [Identifying] Day 2

Under His Watchful Eye

Devotional
In moments of intense testing, it's easy to feel alone or abandoned. However, just like a skilled silversmith never takes his eyes off the precious metal being refined, God maintains constant vigilance over us during our trials. He knows exactly how much heat to apply and precisely when to remove the impurities that rise to the surface. This intimate attention to detail demonstrates His deep love and commitment to our growth. You are never alone in your refinement process - God is always watching, always caring, always working.

Bible Verse
But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. - Job 23:10

Reflection Question
How does knowing that God keeps His eyes on you during difficult times change your perspective on current challenges?

Quote
Remember last week, when we were speaking about the silversmith? He never takes his eye off of the metal as it's in the fire. And the reason being is when the dross comes to the surface, He sees it immediately so He can remove it.

Prayer
Father, thank You for Your constant presence in my life. Help me to trust Your careful attention to every detail of my refinement process. Amen.
