I Am [The Bread Of Life] Devotions Day 3

Coming As You Are

Devotional
Sometimes we feel we need to clean up our act before approaching God. We might think we're too broken, too messy, or too far gone. But that's not how Jesus sees us. He invites us to come exactly as we are - with all our imperfections, doubts, and struggles. He doesn't demand perfection; He desires our presence. Like a loving parent who delights in their child's company regardless of their mistakes, Jesus welcomes us with open arms.

Bible Verse
But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval.” - John 6:27

Reflection Question
What perceived inadequacies have been keeping you from fully embracing a relationship with Jesus?

Quote
Jesus accepts you as you are. You don't have to be clean or you don't have to be free of guilt, or you don't have to go a certain amount of time without making mistakes

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for accepting me just as I am. Help me to stop trying to earn Your love and simply receive it. Give me the courage to come to You with all my imperfections. Amen.
