Bold Faith [Faith And Friends] Devotions Day 3

Building Bridges of Love

Devotional
Love is the foundation of genuine influence. Before people will listen to what we say about God, they need to experience His love through us. This means creating safe spaces where people can be real, ask tough questions, and express doubts without fear of judgment. It means being patient, kind, and consistently present in others' lives. When we truly love others as God loves them, we build bridges that make faith accessible. This kind of love isn't always easy - it requires sacrifice, time, and emotional investment. But it's through these authentic relationships that people often first glimpse God's character.

Bible Verse
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. - 1 John 4:7-8

Reflection Question
How can you show God's love in a practical way to someone who might be struggling with faith?

Quote
Showing up and caring for people is the first step. Remember, people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.

Prayer
Dear God, fill my heart with Your love for others. Help me to be patient, kind, and genuine in my relationships. Use me to show Your love in practical ways that draw others to You. Amen.
