When Storms Reveal Our Foundation

Life has a way of exposing what we truly believe. Like a house built on sand versus rock, the storms we face reveal our foundation. Sometimes we discover we've been relying on our own strength, our relationships, or our circumstances rather than on God. Just as the disciples - experienced fishermen - found their skills inadequate in the face of a mighty storm, we too may find our usual coping mechanisms failing us. These moments, though frightening, are opportunities for spiritual growth and deeper trust in God.

Bible Verse
The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. - Psalm 34:17-19
