Bold Faith [Lack Of Faith] Devotions Day 5

Unshakeable Trust

Devotional
True peace comes not from the absence of storms but from knowing Who controls them. When we place our trust in Jesus rather than in our circumstances, we find a stability that transcends our situation. Like Jesus sleeping peacefully in the storm-tossed boat, we can rest in God's faithful presence and power, knowing He holds us secure no matter what waves crash around us.

Bible Verse
Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son. - Genesis 18:14

It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise. - Hebrews 11:11

Reflection Question
What would it look like to trust God so completely that you could find peace even in the midst of your storm?

Quote
I trust for either you to calm the storm or for you to calm me in the middle of the storm. Either way, Lord, I know that you are holding me safe and secure and that you are seeing me through life's storms.

Prayer
Lord, grant me the faith to trust You completely, whether You calm my storm or calm me in the midst of it. Thank You for Your faithful presence. Amen.
