Dry Bones [God's Word] Devotions Day 5
Revival Is Available to You
Devotional
Revival is not just something that happened in history books. It's not reserved for famous movements or extraordinary people. It is available to you, right now, in the ordinary moments of your everyday life. It starts with one person choosing to come to God's Word hungry. One person deciding to stop going through the motions and actually listen. One person saying yes to what God is asking, even when it's uncomfortable. And when more and more people make that choice, something bigger begins to happen. God's Word never returns to Him empty. Isaiah 55 tells us it always accomplishes what He intends. That means every time you open Scripture with a willing heart, something is happening, even when you can't feel it. The same God who breathed life into a valley of dry bones is breathing life into you. You don't need a new strategy. You don't need to manufacture more emotion or willpower. You simply need an encounter with the living God through His living Word. Come humbly. Come hungry. Come ready to obey what you hear. Spiritual deadness is not permanent unless you decide it is. Revival is available. And it starts today, with you.
Bible Verse
"It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it." - Isaiah 55:11
Reflection Question
What would it look like for you to pursue revival not as a one-time experience but as a daily, ongoing choice to let God's Word shape every part of your life?
Quote
"Spiritual deadness is not permanent unless you decide it is. Revival is available to you not because you're going to muster up more emotion, not because you're going to muster up more willpower, not because you're going to work harder. No, revival comes when you encounter the living God and it starts with His Word."
Prayer
Lord, I come to You hungry and ready. Revive my heart through Your Word, and let what starts in me ripple out to the people around me. I trust that You are still speaking and still bringing life.
