Name Above All Names [Resurrection Sunday] Devotions Day 4

Victory Over Every Struggle

Devotional
Death is humanity's greatest enemy, the final word that silences every dream and ends every story. But Jesus changed everything. When He conquered death, He didn't just win a personal victory... He secured victory for everyone who believes in Him. This victory transforms how we face every struggle in life. That financial crisis you're worried about? Death doesn't have the final say... Jesus does. That health diagnosis that's keeping you awake at night? Death doesn't have the final say... Jesus does. That broken relationship or shattered dream? Death doesn't have the final say... Jesus does. This doesn't mean life will be easy or that problems will disappear. It means that no matter what you're facing, it's not the end of your story. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in your life, bringing hope where there was despair, healing where there was brokenness, and life where there seemed to be only death. When you truly grasp that Jesus has already conquered whatever you're facing, it changes everything. Fear loses its grip. Anxiety loses its power. Hope becomes unshakeable because it's rooted in the One who has already won the ultimate victory.

Bible Verse
But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died. So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life. - 1 Corinthians 15:20-22

Reflection Question
What struggle in your life feels overwhelming right now, and how does knowing that Jesus has already conquered death change your perspective on that challenge?

Prayer
Lord, thank You that no struggle I face is greater than Your victory over death. Help me to live with confidence, knowing You've already won.
