Name Above All Names [Resurrection Sunday] Devotions Day 1

The Source of True Life

Devotional
Have you ever wondered what makes life truly worth living? Many people search for meaning in relationships, careers, achievements, or experiences, yet still feel empty inside. Jesus offers something radically different when He declares that He is the resurrection and the life. He's not just pointing to a future hope... He's revealing that He is the very source of authentic life right now. Life without Jesus is like trying to run a car without an engine. It might look good on the outside, but it lacks the power to take you where you need to go. When we know Jesus personally, we discover what we were truly created for. This isn't about religious activity or moral improvement; it's about a relationship with the One who designed life itself. The beautiful truth is that this life is available to you today, regardless of your past or present circumstances. Jesus doesn't wait for you to get your life together first. He meets you exactly where you are and offers you the fullness of life that your heart has been longing for.

Bible Verse
Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?” - John 11:25-26

Reflection Question
What areas of your life feel empty or unfulfilling, and how might knowing Jesus as the source of true life change your perspective on those areas?

Quote
We cannot know real life until we know Jesus. Have you experienced the true and full life that comes from Jesus? Life without Jesus is a counterfeit of the life that God created for us. It's only through Jesus that we can know true life.

Prayer
Jesus, thank You for being the source of true life. Help me to experience the abundant life You offer and to find my fulfillment in You alone.
