More Than Head Knowledge

You can know a lot about someone without actually knowing them. You might know the dates, the stories, the famous quotes. But that's very different from a real relationship. The same is true with Jesus. You can know the timeline of His life, the outline of His teachings, and even believe He performed miracles. But none of that, on its own, is the same as knowing Him. Even demons, according to Scripture, believe Jesus exists. They've seen His power firsthand. But belief in His existence is not the same as being in relationship with Him. That distinction matters more than we often realize. Knowing about Jesus can stay neatly in a corner of your life. But truly knowing Jesus changes everything. It reshapes how you see yourself, how you treat others, and what you live for. The good news is that this kind of knowing is available to you. It's not reserved for pastors or theologians. It's an invitation extended to anyone willing to receive it.

In your daily life, does your relationship with Jesus feel more like knowing facts about Him or actually knowing Him personally?

Jesus, I don't just want to know about You. I want to truly know You. Draw me into a deeper, more personal relationship with You today. Amen.
