Willing to Be Changed

Devotional
Jesus isn't asking you to clean yourself up before coming to Him. He's not waiting for you to have your theology perfectly sorted or your life completely together. He's simply asking one thing: are you willing? Willing to soften your heart. Willing to quiet the noise long enough to actually encounter Him. Willing to be surprised by what He might do in you. The disciples weren't the most polished group. They misunderstood Jesus regularly, doubted at critical moments, and sometimes argued about who was the greatest. But they stayed close. They kept showing up. They kept their hearts open. And that posture changed everything. When you truly know Jesus, compartmentalizing becomes impossible. His love becomes more real than your fears. His purposes become more important than your comfort. That kind of transformation isn't something you produce on your own. It's what happens when you stop holding Him at arm's length and let Him in. You don't have to have it all together. You just have to be willing. That's enough to start.
