Yesterday we looked at the price God paid to bring you into His family. Today, we go one step further. Not only did God redeem you, He also sealed you and identified you as His own. Think about what a seal means. In the ancient world, a seal was a mark of ownership and protection. It meant something belonged to someone of authority. When God seals you with His Spirit, He is making a declaration over your life: this person is mine. That seal is not based on how consistent your quiet time has been this week. It is not based on whether you have it all together. It is God's promise, His guarantee, that everything He has started in you, He will finish. You are not hoping that you belong to Jesus. You have already been marked as His. That truth is not fragile. It does not shift with your mood or your mistakes. It is settled. Walk into today knowing you are authenticated, protected, and claimed by the God of the universe.

The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. Reflection Question
How would your daily decisions change if you truly lived as someone who has already been sealed and claimed by God?

Prayer
Holy Spirit, thank You for being the seal and guarantee of God's promises in my life. Remind me today that I am marked as His, and let that truth shape the way I see myself and the world around me. Amen.
