You Are Already Being Shaped

Whether you realize it or not, something is shaping you right now. Your habits, your scrolling, your ambitions, your fears. All of it is quietly molding who you are becoming. This is not a warning meant to create anxiety. It is actually an invitation to pay attention. Discipleship begins with an honest question: What is shaping me? Not what should be shaping me, but what actually is? Status? Comfort? The approval of others? These things promise a lot, but they cannot deliver what only God can. Here is the good news. You were not created to be shaped by the world around you. You were created to be shaped by the love of God, progressively transformed into the image of His Son. That is not a burden. That is a calling. And it starts simply by becoming aware of what you are giving your attention to each day. You do not have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to ask the question and let God meet you in the honesty of it.
