Cornerstone [The Rock Of My Salvation] Devotions Day 3

The Exclusive Path to Life

Devotional
In our culture, exclusivity feels uncomfortable. We prefer options, alternatives, and multiple paths to the same destination. But when it comes to salvation, Jesus makes an exclusive claim that cuts through all ambiguity. He doesn't offer Himself as one way among many; He declares Himself as the way, the truth, and the life. This isn't harsh or narrow-minded; it's actually the most merciful truth imaginable. Why? Because it means your salvation doesn't depend on your performance, your perfection, or your ability to never mess up. It depends entirely on a foundation that's already secure. When Peter boldly declared that salvation is found in no one else, he wasn't being stubborn... he was speaking from certainty. He had built his life on something immovable and discovered that this exclusive path is actually the most inclusive invitation ever given. Anyone can come. Anyone can build their life on this cornerstone. You don't have to earn it, deserve it, or work for it. Salvation is a gift, paid for by Jesus and offered freely to you. The exclusivity of Jesus isn't a barrier... it's the guarantee that your eternal destiny rests on something far more reliable than your own efforts.

Bible Verse
'There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.' - Acts 4:12

Reflection Question
How does knowing that salvation is a gift rather than something you earn change the way you approach your relationship with God?

Quote
Salvation is not something you earn. It's not something you deserve. It's something that was paid for you by Jesus. And it's offered to you is a gift.

Prayer
Thank You, Jesus, that salvation is Your gift to me, not something I have to earn. Help me rest in the security of Your finished work.
