Building Decisions on the Rock

Every day, you face decisions; some small, some life-changing. Where do you turn for guidance? Many of us consult our fears, our ambitions, or what others expect from us. But when Jesus is your cornerstone, He becomes the reference point for every choice you make. Instead of asking, "What will make me happy?" or "What will others think?" you ask, "What would it look like to build this decision on Jesus as my foundation?" This transforms everything. When facing uncertainty, you don't panic because your foundation isn't uncertain... it's rock solid. When you fail (and you will), you don't have to rebuild your entire identity because your foundation remains secure. You confess, turn from your mistake, and keep building on the stone that never crumbles. When the world offers you a thousand other foundations; promising that this purchase will complete you, this relationship will fulfill you, or this achievement will define you... you can walk past all of that noise and say, "I have a foundation already." Building on Jesus doesn't mean life becomes easy, but it does mean you become unshakeable. Your decisions flow from security rather than desperation, from love rather than fear.
